About Our Practice

Stamford Dental Arts was opened in 2011 by husband and wife team, Dr. Ali Modiri and Dr. Marjan Moghadam. Starting with just four walls, a positive attitude, and passion for patient care, Stamford Dental Arts has become one of the most regarded dental offices in the Stamford area. The team at Stamford Dental Arts is also multi-lingual, speaking Spanish, Polish and Farsi.

Located at 44 Strawberry Hill Road, Suite 1 in Stamford, CT, we are minutes away from the Stamford Mall and many local attractions. Our office is close to the train station and easily accessible from I-95.

Ali Modiri, DDS

Dr. Modiri earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University’s College of Dentistry in 2002 and completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Montrose campus of the Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2003. Dr. Modiri has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in Stamford, Connecticut, and New York since 2003.

As an Invisalign Platinum provider, Drs. Moghadam and Modiri regularly attend lectures and seminars in advanced technologies in dentistry to keep abreast of the latest treatment options available in the industry. He and his wife, Marjan, are part of an elite group of dentists dedicated to utilizing Invisalign to improve their patients’ quality of life and appearance by improving their occlusion and smile.

When Dr. Modiri is not pursuing his passion for dentistry, he enjoys spending his time with his wife, Marjan, and daughters, Sophie and Madelyn. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, snowboarding, and mountain biking.

Marjan Moghadam, DDS, MA

Dr. Moghadam earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2002. Following her General Practice Residency at Long Island College Hospital in 2003, she earned her certificate in prosthodontics and masters’ degree in psychology.

As a prosthodontist, Dr. Moghadam performs complex dental treatments involving full mouth rehabilitation with crowns, bridges, implants, and dentures. She is also a clinical assistant professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics, where she serves as co-director of Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics.

Magdalena Miskowiak, RDH

Magdalena is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She completed her degree at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2015, the first and prestigious school that established dental hygiene as a profession worldwide. Magdalena’s role at Stamford Dental Arts is to promote oral hygiene by providing oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of sealants and fluoride treatment, whitening procedures, administration of locally applied antibiotics and therapeutic agents, oral cancer screening, and patient education. She received an award for excellence in chair side education and is a member of the honor society Sigma Phi Alpha. Magdalena’s goal is to treat each patient with attention to detail and to deliver the best quality dental care. Her friendly and caring attitude makes each appointment comfortable and pleasant which is truly appreciated by her patients. In her spare time she enjoys family time with her husband and two children, reading, hiking, camping and listening to classical music.
